We will explore the Book of Hebrews in a verse by verse study. During this “Year of the Bible” at Grace Church, this book examines the person and work of Jesus in light of the Old Testament scriptures
Men, you are invited to take steps in a quest to become more like Jesus. We will start with Jesus’ call to “follow me” and then focus specifically on Jesus’ relationship with God through prayer.
We are living in a cultural moment in which a serious faith commitment seems strange, out of place, even regarded as harmful. This kind of experience is hardly new. The Old Testament story of the exile tells about how God’s people found themselves living in a place that was not friendly to their faith. And it tells about what it mean to thrive in such a place. This fall the Midweek Bible Class will listen to the words of the prophet Jeremiah to understand better how to live well in exile.
Weekly study on the Sermon on the Mount ( Matthew 5 – 7) in an inductive style. We will take 13 weeks guided by John Stott and Life guide Bible Studies.
