We are all ages, living in different neighborhoods, with different stories who have been shaped by grace. Together, we invite all people to know the grace that Jesus offers. That commitment shapes how we come together on Sunday morning, and how we scatter throughout the Lehigh Valley during the week.
If you are new to the faith, have questions, or you are new to the Lehigh Valley, we invite you to come, ask, and see. In worship, in groups, and in serving, our prayer is that you will take steps to know Jesus who is the grace-giver and life-changer.
150 years ago, a group of people gathered at the YMCA to prayerfully consider planting a new Christian community. That was the first group of Presbyterians to be in the Lehigh Valley. That group worshipped in several locations as it grew and God blessed.
Back in 2018, God was moving in a new way. A group of over 1200 launched out to begin a new Presbyterian Church. We prayerfully chose the name “GRACE Church Bethlehem.” After claiming our new name, we began a praying and dreaming process about our future ministry and mission. In April 2023, we moved into our new campus, located in one of the fastest-growing locations in the Lehigh Valley.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9
During the Reformation, Sola Gratia (“Grace Alone”) was named as one of the five central truths of the faith by Martin Luther.
And the Word (Jesus) became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:14
Christians should be grace-filled in all circumstances. This has always been a mark of believers - showing in the way they greeted each other and by the way Christians live their lives.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
1 Thessalonians 5:28
Let your gentleness be evident to all.
Philippians 4:5
